Research interests
Kyungtae Kim is an expert of controlled polymer synthesis, self-assembly & directed assembly of polymeric nanomaterials, and structural characterization using X-ray scattering and electron microscopy. His research interests include: (1) Precision synthesis of soft nano/microparticles made of polymers and organic materials; (2) Self-assembly of soft particles into complex ordered structures that resemble metal alloy phases; and (3) Fabrication of soft nanomaterials with large-scale ordering and controlled defects.
