Dr. Ramesh Jha is a computational and synthetic biologist with over 15 years of experience in various aspects of protein and microbial engineering with applications in biocatalysis and biosensing. Ramesh is the inventor of Smart Microbial Cell Technology (R&D100, 2020), that uses a custom designed biosensor gene circuit for rapid evaluation of biocatalytic efficiency utilizing the high throughput screening capability of flow cytometry. He is currently leading multiple projects in the areas of biocatalysis and biomanufacturing.
