Analysis of supercontinuum generation in soft glass photonic crystal fibers with cross-correlation frequency-resolved optical gating

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

Initial stages of supercontinuum generation in SF6 extruded photonic crystal fiber are experimentally studied with X-FROG and spectral measurements. Self-steepening is clearly observed and its role in generation of anti-Stokes blueshifted spectral components is highlighted.
