Abstract
The mean-field theory of an antiferromagnetic superconductor is solved and some fluctuation effects are discussed. In contrast to claims of other authors, it is found that the pairing is of the usual BCS type, =Ck,C-k,. Results for the gap parameter (T) and Hc(T) are presented. The latter is similar to the measured Hc2(T). The ratio (0)Tc and the (nonmonotonic) temperature T dependence of Hc and (T) are shown to deviate markedly from BCS theory. © 1981 The American Physical Society.
