Abstract

We report the design of and progress towards devices that integrate NbTiN superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors with GaAs nanophotonic devices. We show that the design is expected to achieve photon detection efficiency of 99.41% power absorption in a 10-µm-long nanowire with minimized external coupling losses.
