Abstract
The domain growth kinetics of magnetically ordering systems with p-fold degenerate ground states is analyzed. We present Monte Carlo results for the approach to equilibrium of systems with multigenerate ground states which have been rapidly quenched from T å Tc to T « Tc. We show that pinning center are effective in slowing the dynamics of domain growth in systems with p ≥ 3. © 1983.
