Generation of 50-μJ subpicosecond pulses at 248 nm

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

An efficient 248-nm source used for the seeding of KrF amplifiers is described. The frequency-doubled output of a mode-locked dye oscillator-amplifier system is heterodyned with a 1064-nm pulse to produce a 50-μJ subpicosecond pulse in the ultraviolet.
