Abstract
In this paper, calcium-aluminosilicate glass films were grown on α-Al2O3 substrates by pulsed laser deposition. The effect of α-Al2O3 crystallography on the crystallization of the films are determined by electron microscopy. Film composition and microstructure were also analyzed.
