Initial Work on Ultrafast Photoluminescent Surface Heating Optical Thermometry (UP-SHOT)

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

Ultrafast (GHz) thermometry requires considerations of signal-to-noise, heat conduction, and temperature sensitivity. Ultrafast Photoluminescent Surface Heating Optical Thermometry (UP-SHOT) exploits the subnanosecond excitonic response of zinc oxide. Time-resolved photoluminescence is presented and discussed.
