Investigation of the energy-dependent charge dynamics in InAs SAQD's with ultrafast scanning tunneling microscopy

Abstract

We use ultrafast scanning tunneling microscope to study carrier dynamics in a single InAs quantum dot at different energies of excitation. The potential of the technique for probing temporal evolution of nanostructures is demonstrated.
