Abstract

Multiphoton absorption of picosecond ArF* (193 nm) laser radiation has resulted in the production of highly charged ions and in the observation of stimulated emission in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) and extreme ultraviolet (XUV). © 1984 SPIE.
