Abstract
We present the first ultrafast time-resolved, polarization-dependent experiments on both single- and ensemble-silicon nanowires using non-degenerate spectroscopy. Anisotropy was observed for polarizations perpendicular and parallel to the nanowire. © 2011 OSA.
