Abstract

The design characteristics of a multioscillator ring laser gyro are considered. Experimentally observed characteristics of this device using a magnetic field on the active gain media as a bias are reported. These observations are compared with those predicted from solutions to the equations representing a generalized Lamb theory of an anisotropic Zeeman gas ring laser.
