Abstract
This talk discusses theory developments for describing changes in many-body carrier-interaction processes arising from 3-dimensional quantum confinement. The improvements are necessary for investigating quantum-dot-laser performance at underlying-physics level and developing non-classical-light sources for quantum-information technologies. © 2013 IEEE.
