N2 - We investigated ultrafast strain dynamics at the BiFeO3 (BFO)/La0.3Sr0.7MnO3 (LSMO) interface using time resolved second harmonic generation (trSHG). The dynamics are driven by the strain in a small boundary layer at the interface.
