Abstract
The observation of several nonlinear pulse propagation in optical fibers is discussed. The stable propagation of a soliton over the entire length of the link is verified through observation of the phase. The energy dependence of soliton duration is characterized. Further, a sizeable soliton of self-frequency shift is described.
