Research interests

Dr. Blake Hovde joined LANL as a postdoc in 2015, bringing expertise in genome editing tools and algal genomics.  Blake worked on algal biofuels related work during his postdoc and has since focused on bioinformatic tool development and the realm of digital biosecurity.  Blake also co-manages the Applied Genomics Lab.
